A bit about plastering

When you build a wall, unless it’s deliberately going to be left as bare brickwork for an aesthetic effect, you need to create a smooth finished surface. Applying plaster to any wall or ceiling provides that perfect finish for wallpapering inside or painting.

But as well as the visual effect, plaster also provides heat and sound insulation. Plaster gives a damp-proof coating and additional fire protection.

There are a wide range of materials and techniques available, and we can advise you on the most appropriate ones for your application.
